Gentle Hahta Yoga

Hatha is practised at a slower pace, with a focus on breath, controlled movements, and stretching. The regular practice of Hatha enhances strength, flexibility, and balance and may offer some light to moderate aerobic conditioning as well, depending on the style of the class set by the teacher. Other benefits may be gained from incorporating breath work (pranayama) and meditation into the class. Hatha can be considered a universal term to describe many of the most common forms of yoga taught in the West.

Hatha is the branch of yoga that comes to mind when you think of yoga in general terms and involves breath, body, and mind. Classes are 70 or 90 minutes of breathing, yoga poses, and some meditation.

This class is suitable for beginners and more experienced yogis alike.
