Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow is a dynamic connection of movement with breath, focused on endurance, flexibility, and strength. The heat will allow you to safely reach new levels of personal flexibility. Classes are creatively sequenced to inspire physical, energetic, mental, and inner freedom or a higher state of consciousness.
Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. It’s a broad classification that encompasses many different types of yoga. Vinyasa teachers have the discretion to arrange the progression of poses in their own ways. In Vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronized to a breath.
Vinyasa allows for a lot of variety. Some classes include some warm-up stretches at the beginning while others launch straight into standing poses. Vinyasa’s strength is in its diversity. If you appreciate having things a little loose and unpredictable and like to keep moving, this style is worth a try.
Is Vinyasa Flow for beginners?
Perhaps… If you’re relatively fit and comfortable with the fundamental asanas, then this might be a good fit for you. Vinyasa Flow is the logical progression for yogis who want a practice slightly more challenging than Hatha.
